Training Overview

This course provides a foundational understanding of Photovoltaic (PV) Solar systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You’ll learn core system architecture, site layout, and essential safety practices for working in solar and energy storage environments.

Key PV components—such as panels, trackers, combiner boxes, and inverters—are covered to help you understand how solar energy is captured and converted. The course also introduces the basics of BESS operation, design, and safety.

Additionally, you’ll learn the fundamentals of Infrared Thermography, a diagnostic tool used to identify thermal issues and support preventative maintenance.

By the end of this course, you’ll have the knowledge needed to support the safe and effective operation of solar and energy storage sites.
