The purpose of this course is to provide the technician with advanced troubleshooting skills to deliver on the specific needs for each site. Teammates will incorporate critical thinking skills when troubleshooting complex faults. The training will explore best practices and in-depth analysis when executing difficult troubleshooting scenarios. The use of software to aid in diagnosing faulted turbines is brought to the forefront of each scenario. At the completion of this course the student will understand the functions of how to view and operate the software and tools required to diagnose complicated faults.
Training Content
Critical thinking skills, advanced troubleshooting practices, software familiarization, remote troubleshooting procedures, data analysis and monitoring, interpreting data and site metrics to predict failures and optimize turbine operation, identifying frequently tripping turbines, trending variables that lead to potential failures, and taking preventative action to avoid failures.
