Training Overview

• Skills covered include; rigging and hoisting activities, electrical, hydraulic, bolt tightening, mechanical and generator alignment.

This course is a thirteen day in-person training with two focus areas; The first week focuses on working at heights and other safety related  curriculum. Participants will acquire the requisite foundational knowledge essential for achieving success in the routine operations expected of a wind turbine technician. Trainees will learn the knowledge and skills necessary for climb and rescue scenarios with the use or TSL rescue equipment. In addition to climb and rescue training the trainee will learn how to properly execute on rigging and hoisting activities. The second and final week focuses on bringing you up to speed on industry standards. The trainee will learn the fundamental skills required for entry-level wind technicians.
